Magic Gumball Machine was an animation created based on a one sentence prompt: “A character wants a gumball.” This open ended prompt can lead to any amount of shenanigans for animation to create. The main character gets the gumball without a hitch, but they did not see a note on the machine, saying each gumball contains a spell until it was too late and they were shrunk. This animation was made to test the realm of possibility in story, as well as perspective in animation.
